Brutal Assault - Fuck You Motherfucker! CD (2006) + Video from the left bank (6.10.05)
Long anticipated by readers of this blog, finally I give you Brutal Assault! Probably the most persistent, most in-your-face hardcore band in israel during the 2000's. Their politics were never an out-right left-wing agenda like Nikmat Olalim or Smartut Kahol Lavan, but in terms of the punk scene and the underground music scene as a whole, they were definitely the most political band around. There were times that I loved them, there were times that I hated them, but in retrospect all I can say is that they're fucking awesome. Their final show is still TBA... (Nikmat Olalim might even reunite for the occasion...).

HaMeshubatzim - Demo
A side project of the Punks of Nesher. Features members of couscous.
*Correction* - It's actually Brutal Assault, with David and Itai (also from couscous) switching between guitar and bass live. Itai recorded all of the instruments on the "demo". They even rehearsed once, or twice (!) but with a different line up. The hidden track on the Brutal Assault C.D. was originally a Meshubatzim song. (kudos to aflalo for the more exact details)
Tracks:
Damka

Zman Ptziot // Brutal Assault - split demo tape (2004)

This infamous tape was put out by these two hardcore bands in the summer of 2004.
Brutal Assault are still playing shows and getting better from time to time. I think this recording featured their first bass player Gonik, together with Nadav, David and Jenia. I like it. It's much rawer than their album and the drums sounds like someone's banging on metal pots.
Zman Ptziot short-lived in 2004 and again in 2005 for a while. This demo was recorded in a rehearsal room in 40 minutes. Band members were Guy, Santiago, Yonatan and me. Nir Klein (Expect Nothing) replaced Santiago on bass just before we split up. Cheska (Neged Hakibush 2 be 5) contributed vocals on one of the songs .
We only made few copied of this tape , because a lot of the tapes i bought weren't any good and I don't think this demo was ever fully uploaded with the artwork and all so enjoy it. Please.
