Probably the most interesting black old school death metal band I've heard in the last decade. This is D9's guitarist's new project. Not exactly punk but absolutely amazing. (or, as a friend said after the album release show: 'after this i won't be able to enjoy punk again!').

The Brilliantines - CD

The Brilliantines is a stage name that The Fluorescents took when they played in the israeli tv show "Zbeng".   This band isn't bad at all, but I wouldn't call them punk. Most of their songs are weird hebrew cover versions, some surf, some rock... and there are also some pretty funny skits between the songs. The best songs in my opinion are the surf versions of HaTikva (track 17) and Dana International's Diva (track 7). I'm still waiting to get the full track list. Thanks to Avi Pitchon for letting me rip his copy.
