Plitey Gan Miryam - Demo

Warning! This is not punk! it's just some band of a friend of mine from when I was growing up. When we were teens they one time helped with setting up punk shows, giving their drum set or something... anyway that's how they ended up in my archive. If you like slow music with piano... then enjoy.

Couscous - Dirty Couscous - Various Recordings

A dark, ominous, secret project by members of the great band Couscous. The streets of Nesher were a hard place to grow up at and these guys (combined with some dude from Second Hand Smoke if i'm not wrong) figured hardcore punk just isn't enough. They made several side projects, and recorded demos in their room or something like that. This is some weird stuff, some of it is real crap, but some songs are hilarious, original, and just plain awesome.

1. Couscous - Signon Metumtam

RABIES CASTE - Let the Soul Out and Cut the Vein

(copied shamelessly from total satan anarachy blog)

One of the best bands ever came out from the Middle East interesting sludge with vocals reminiscent of rabid dog. I was lucky enough to see them in concert once and I thank the devil about it until now thank you thank you thank you. A great band made exceptional music many years ago, especially that it comes from the area of the Middle East. I wish there will be other such bands in Israel (Middle East)

Symmetric Process - Demo

A demo from the forgotten realms of the past. This Kfar Saba trio tried to do a cross between black metal, grind and 'modern music'. To me this demo is interesting mainly because you don't get to hear a lot of instrumental recordings of this kind of stuff (a.k.a crap), and also because members of this band later became prominent musicians: one plays in the metal band "Seweged", the other is a prominent electronic musician. Don't get me wrong, there are some cool musical parts in this demo, but I put it up on this blog for archive purposes first and for headbanging purposes second.

Mad Choice - Demos (2003, 2011)

This band is a wet dream of its founder, guitarist and lead singer, that still hasn't reached its fullest. The band was active back in 2003, played a couple of shows, released an online demo, and then broke up. Now all of a sudden they're back from the dead. Unfortunately I missed their first show so i have no idea what are the exact changes in the line up. Musically they sound now like a more grown up punk rock band. The songs are more melodic and a bit more complex and everything in general sounds tighter and more 'settled down'. I wish them all the best.

Demo 2003 Tracks:
1. Every Time
2. What I'd Never
3. Dream About You (cover)
4. Suffer
5. Brutality feat. pikitup
6. I Want To
