Isvey Pere - The Visual and Sound History of Israeli Punk VHS 1993-1999

Isvey Pere ("Wild Weeds"), is a video compiltaion released on VHS around 1999, with live shows and TV excerpts of Israel's '90's punk and hardcore bands. As far as I know it was all filmed, compiled and edited by Johnny Massey (Dir Yassin, Mitaan). It was released in two volumes: The first focused on the years '93-'94, while the second focused on '96-'99. The second volume ends with the declaration "To be continued... vol 3 - The Politics of Punk", but no such issue was ever released. This a great video (and audio) documentation of Israel punk in the nineties, and not only for the sake of looking for familiar faces in the crowd. I can only hope that similar video comps will be made for 2000-2010.
